  • Ekaterina Kechkina
    Attorney
    Licensed attorney, a member of the State Bar of California. Attorney Kechkina began her legal practice as an intern at the Orange County District Attorney's Office in California. After this, Attorney Kechkina exclusively practiced in the field of U.S. immigration law.

    Attorney Kechkina’s work experience includes working at a private immigration firm, where she handled family-based and employment-based cases, as well as asylum applications. Attorney Kechkina prepared a number of successful petitions, including L-1 (Intracompany Transferee), National Interest Waiver (NIW), Victims of Criminal Activity (U-visa) and I-601A provisional waivers, among others. During this time, she also successfully represented clients in immigration court hearings.

    In 2018, Attorney Kechkina joined the USCIS. First, she worked as an Asylum Officer, conducting interviews and making approval/referral decisions. Then, she worked as a Senior Asylum Officer handling the most complex cases. This experience gave her a deep understanding of the internal mechanisms of the immigration system and now allows her to provide her clients with the best defense and resolution of their immigration cases.

    With over 10 years of experience in U.S. immigration law, Attorney Kechkina is well-versed in all the intricacies of this complex legal system, as she is deeply familiar with the most effective practical methods. Attorney Kechkina believes in protecting the rights and interests of her clients and is ready to help them achieve their immigration goals.

    Attorney Kechkina is fluent in Russian and English. Her hobbies include travel, Latin dancing, and video clips editing.

  • Elena Oganova
    Attorney
    Licensed attorney, a member of the State Bar of California, with over 10 years of experience in immigration law.

    Attorney Oganova began her legal practice with an externship at the Superior Court of Los Angeles, and then focused her practice on immigration law. In private practice, Attorney Oganova worked with investment visas, work visas, employment-based immigration, and family-based immigration, as well as visas for tourists, students, exchange visitors; visas for victims of domestic violence and visas for victims of certain crimes.

    In 2018, Attorney Oganova joined the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and worked as an Asylum Officer, and later as a Supervisory Asylum Officer reviewing the decisions of asylum officers for compliance with the law. Attorney Oganova also worked as an Immigration Officer adjudicating cases for "O” visa, also known as the "extraordinary ability visa" in science, education, sport, business and arts, and "P" work visas for professional athletes and various entertainment groups (musical, circus, ballet, etc.).

    Attorney Oganova's distinctive qualities include responsibility and thoroughness in preparing/reviewing cases, which is very important in the immigration field. In private practice now, Attorney Oganova successfully applies her acquired experience in handling various immigration matters.
